Focus of the Role As a Product Owner, this role focuses on leading work to periodically review key critical systems and production applications, to ensure continued compliance with Cybersecurity standards and controls for operational resiliency. Lead work by managing scope, schedule, and resource engagement. Collaborate with key stakeholders to emphasize the importance of resiliency assessments and remediation. Provide guidance on implementing security policies and procedures to protect information systems. Drive assessments to ensure compliance with cybersecurity controls and standards. Communicate security risks to business stakeholders and manage the prioritization and flow of work. Ensure alignment with TSSR, Australian Government legislated requirements, and Telstra's cybersecurity standards. About You Essential: People leadership experience in leading work in cross-functional teams. Program Management experience gained in Cybersecurity, Telco Network or complex large-scale IT environments. Commercial acumen and well-developed senior communication skills to enable effective executive key stakeholder engagement and external supplier negotiation. Minimum of 5 years of Cybersecurity experience with a broad understanding of Cybersecurity concepts and best practices including complex security solutions, security controls definition and security threat/risk assessment. Experience in solving enterprise-scale security problems involving high levels of ambiguity. Experience with Agile and DevOps. Desired: Knowledge and experience in IT systems planning, design and technical architecture. Prior exposure to SOC-SIEM activities to remediate cyber events. Experience in assessing some aspect of Cybersecurity compliance for on-premise and cloud-based solutions. Current industry certification including (but not limited to) Security/Risk: CRISC, CISSP, CISM, SABSA Networking: CCNP, CCIP, CCIE Cloud: CCSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, MCSD Other: TOGAF, ITIL, COBIT 5, CGEIT We're amongst the top 2% of companies globally in the CDP Global Climate Change Index 2023, being awarded an 'A' rating.
