Responsibilities
  • Roadmap Execution: Translate the security and identity roadmap into actionable development plans with a focus on authentication, authorization, identity lifecycle, and compliance.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Security Architects, IAM Engineers, and Product Managers to understand business needs, regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, NIST), and user expectations.
  • Backlog Ownership: Define, prioritize, and manage a backlog of features such as MFA, SSO, RBAC, identity federation, and audit logging.

  • Cross-Team Coordination: Collaborate with DevSecOps, infrastructure, and compliance teams to identify dependencies and resolve blockers.
  • Security Advocacy: Ensure security best practices (e.g., least privilege, zero trust, secure coding) are embedded in product development.
  • Progress Communication: Provide regular updates to stakeholders on the status of security and identity features in development.
  • Enablement Support: Act as a subject matter expert for internal teams, supporting training, documentation, and customer communications related to security features.
