Wellfleet, a Berkshire Hathaway Company, seeks an experienced Product Owner- DocGen/EIS professional to support the Wellfleet Product Team.
The Product Owner (PO) is experienced in the health and accident insurance field. The PO is responsible for maximizing the value of the product by providing clarity on a product’s vision and goal. The PO manages the product development process, gathers and prioritizes user needs, creates and maintains a product backlog, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure the product meets customer expectations and delivers value.

Responsibilities
  • Translate and communicate the product vision to Agile development teams utilizing the Scrum framework
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria and to produce a clearly defined backlog
  • Implement solutions and prioritize requirements to deliver the best value to the customer and the business
  • Act as a bridge between stakeholders and development teams to understand roadblocks and specifications and recommend actionable solutions
  • Gather, record, and organize feedback to help improve processes, workflow, or product development
  • Oversee development to ensure requirements are implemented effectively within the required timelines
  • Attend appropriate meetings as a representative of the Product Development Team
  • Perform other duties as assigned
