QUALIFICATIONS

· 10+ years of experience in financial services or fintech in a Product Owner or equivalent role.
· Demonstrated ability to collaborate with EVP/SVP-level stakeholders and manage executive alignment.
· Strong technical foundation—must be comfortable working with databases, data flows, and structured queries.
· Experience with data mapping, analytics, and reconciliation.
· Proficiency in JIRA and strong familiarity with Agile software development practices.
· Experience using Lucidchart, Miro, Visio, or similar tools for diagramming and workflow documentation.
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
· Experience in advisor fee billing is a plus; finance domain experience is required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Operate as a hands-on Product Owner with the ability to work independently—no Business Analyst support provided.
· Translate complex financial business logic into clear, data-driven requirements and documentation.
· Create data mapping artifacts, process flows, and system diagrams using tools like Lucidchart, Miro, or Visio.
· Collaborate directly with stakeholders including finance, operations, and engineering to align on data functionality and system behavior.
· Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives using JIRA.
· Drive large-scale data platform and billing system migrations, working with multiple cross-functional teams.
· Understand, query, and work closely with database structures, applying data analytics where needed to interpret business rules.
· Ensure product documentation is comprehensive and implementation-ready for technical teams.
