Join our team as a Product Owner to lead and enhance our web product portfolio (easyfinancial.com, easyhome.ca), focusing on conversion improvement, customer acquisition growth, and user experience optimization. You’ll act as a subject matter expert, manage project activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful digital solutions centered around customer needs.

WHAT EXPERIENCE DO YOU HAVE?

  • 3-5 years of professional experience as a product owner/product manager.
  • Strong knowledge of product management principles and best practices, with a track record of effective use of Scrum rituals and artifacts.
  • High degree of comfort with data and analytics (knowledge of Google Analytics and Hotjar is a plus), and the ability to leverage data to identify gaps in usability, performance, and enhancement opportunities.
  • Experience with running experimentation (A/B testing) and creating personalized journeys (experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization platform is a bonus).
  • A focus on testing and experimentation as a central approach to product development.
  • Growth mindset and curious nature with a willingness to disrupt the status quo.
  • Highly collaborative and comfortable building and growing relationships across cross-functional teams. You work hard to solve complex problems and continually apply the customer lens to deliver the best end-user experience.
  • Effective communicator to market test ideas and influence test-related decisions.
  • Experience managing third-party relationships, including vendors and agency-side teams.
  • Understanding of the technical aspects of web applications.
  • Solid understanding of UI/UX, SEO, and web technologies.
Note: Internally, this role is referred to as Product Analyst.
We offer a Flexible Work Program that provides you the ability to work three days onsite per week, from our Mississauga office.
Internal Applicants: please apply through the link and provide written endorsement from your current manager.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a roadmap of features and experience enhancements for the web product portfolio (easyfinancial.com, easyhome.ca) aimed at conversion improvement, customer acquisition growth, and measurable impact on the user experience.
  • Act as a subject matter expert representing the web product portfolio as part of the delivery of cross-functional projects and initiatives.
  • Represent the voice of the customer and use this knowledge to build and optimize our web platforms as digital products with the customer at their center.
  • Interpret customer insights and business needs into technical specifications, effectively gather requirements from cross-functional stakeholders, define scope, write and prioritize stories, manage the backlog, and independently handle project management activities for the portfolio.
  • Own and manage personalization and experimentation roadmaps, incrementally improving the user experience and web conversion.
  • Own go-to-market updates on the web properties for offers, campaigns, and projects.
  • Develop and maintain robust analytics tracking and reporting for ongoing product health monitoring and measurement of new product features and enhancements.
  • Work with a cross-functional team including marketing, agency partners, IT, BI, Ops, legal, and front-line teams to map out and implement digital solutions.
  • Champion a mobile-first culture and user-centered UI/UX experience.
