We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and, ultimately, helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions.   We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Product Owner In this role, you will: Requirements & Impact Assessment: Review of global and regional Functional Change Requests to assess validity and feasibility in line with group standard architecture Validate high level business requirements and business case and ensure they are thoroughly captured and signed off by Product/Operations stakeholders. Lead high-level impact assessment across upstream/downstream systems and markets impacted by the change Undertake measures for elimination of non-applicable requirements and ensure the most cost-effective delivery of a solution to a user requirement Scope Definition & Alignment: Undertake measures to define Minimum Viable Product(MVP) and scope in consultation with stakeholders (business, operations, compliance, technology). Align scope with both Systems Integration Testing(SIT) and User Acceptance Testing(UAT) test strategies. Maintain and prepare detailed business functional requirements, user stories and process flows. Solution Design Oversight: Collaborate with architects and Subject Matter Expert(SMEs) to review high-level solutions and ensure alignment with business goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Collaborate closely with Global Payment System(GPS) Product, Technology and operation partners to ensure all regulatory and mandatory and business changes are defined, developed, and executed faultlessly on the Group payments platform. To be successful you will: Payments Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of payment processing lifecycles, including high-value, Low-Value, settlement, clearing, and orchestration layers like Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication(SWIFT). Banking Infrastructure: Strong grasp of core banking systems, their integration points, and dependencies with payment engines. Post-Processing Assets: Familiarity with downstream modules such as investigations, returns, reconciliations, fee and billing , and exception management. Testing & Quality Assurance: Knowledge of Systems Integration Testing(SIT), User Acceptance Testing(UAT), and Production Validation Test(PVT) cycles; ability to support test scope definition, evidence validation, and defect resolution. Operations & Risk Management: Skilled in managing operational readiness, release sign-offs, defect prioritization, and ensuring compliance with regulatory/operational controls.
