JOB DESCRIPTION:

The TD AML program is seeking an experienced product owner who can support the technical development of KYC requirements. This individual is expected to support the KYC (Know Your Customer) product by refining the business capabilities with partners to effectively enable the program, as well as working with Group Product Owners to ensure our product capabilities and solutions are functionally aligned with requirements as defined by the Compliance partners. They will also be responsible for managing interdependencies and prioritizing requirements with other partners to achieve optimal value.

As a Product Owner the day to day responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Plan and prioritize product development and product feature backlog
  • Develop detailed product feature specifications and ensure they’re clearly understood by relevant teams
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work aligns with product strategy
  • Mitigate roadblocks to achieving sprint/release goals
  • Lead the product-release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities
  • Serve as product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge and answering questions

Job Requirements (Top non-negotiable hard skills or qualifications required for this position)

  • Minimum of 3 years in a Business Analyst, Solutions Consultant or Product Owner role
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience refining technical requirements and writing detailed user stories which align with program level requirements
  • Experience managing work items within Jira
  • Knowledge of the software development cycle (SDLC)
  • Exposure to the development and quality assurance functions
  • Strong knowledge of Agile delivery
