Disney’s Enterprise Technology Identity and Access Management (IAM) Group is responsible for providing a Core IAM ecosystem of products and platforms in use across the company by cast members, employees, and partners within Disney’s Business segments and Corporate functions. Our vision is to provide modern Identity and Access Management capabilities and services that are simple, seamless, and secure to protect our workforce, our data, and our brands.

Responsibilities

The Sr. IAM, Product Owner is responsible for providing leadership to the Authorization delivery team. They serve as a key member of the Enterprise IAM engineering team and is responsible for ensuring the team effectively and efficiently deliver their commitments to customers, on time, on budget and on function. This role will also contribute to the critical product directions and design decisions during IAM transformation & operational performance optimization. The Authorization delivery team supports multiple custom enterprise solutions such as Keystone, AuthManager, and AuthZ.

This role demonstrates customer centricity and service orientation, by building collaborative relationships across the enterprise and ensuring the delivery of quality products that deliver the desired business outcomes. In this role, you will:

  • Provide leadership and direction to the delivery team(s) consisting of software engineers, service leads, architects, test engineers, and organizational change management
  • Defines the priorities of the delivery team, managing the team backlog, and prioritizing the user stories, defects, and enablers
  • Ensure the team backlog aligns with the strategic priorities of product strategy, roadmaps, and the program backlog
  • Develop implementation approaches and provide recommendations to the IAM Executive Leadership
  • Works with stakeholders and teams to develop product strategy and roadmap for integration into Enterprise Technology business planning cycles and cross-functional development management
  • Lead complex problem-solving efforts and provide solution recommendations
  • Create and provide forecasts, tracking, and reporting for delivery plans and releases
  • Serve on the IAM Demand Review Committee assessing new demand requests and providing input and recommendations on future product features and capabilities
  • Contribute to solution design, defining product requirements, new capabilities and product selection
  • Identify key customer(s) and customer groups, build and maintain customer relationships to develop effective product feedback loops for integration into the agile delivery cycle
  • Partner with quality engineering to develop test strategy and write test cases across in alignment with the established Quality Management Office testing standards and practices
  • Collaborate with quality engineering resources to execute tests, analyze results, and resolve defects
  • Evaluate the delivered stories against the definition of done and the established acceptance criteria
  • Collaborate with business partners on implementation, including training, change management, and communications
  • Act as a peer group leader to help train staff on product delivery standards and processes
