Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re seeking an experienced Product Owner to join our Medibank Operations Squad on an initial 6-month contract. This squad is responsible for the ongoing servicing and optimisation of Medibank’s web and app platforms, with a strong focus on customer self-service, call efficiency, and digital experience.
You’ll step in to lead the squad while the current Product Owner is on leave, taking ownership of the backlog and driving delivery across a range of initiatives aimed at improving the customer experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own and manage the squad’s product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Analyse customer experience data and translate insights into actionable backlog items.
  • Shape ideas and concepts through to delivery in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and stakeholders to prioritise and deliver impactful features.
  • Focus on enhancing self-service capabilities across Medibank’s digital assets (web and app).
  • Work within a mix of public-facing and secure environments, ensuring seamless integration with backend systems (e.g., claims and servicing platforms).
