Description

We are looking for a Product Owner to oversee the development and evolution of a mobile super app at a client location in Abu Dhabi. This role requires a strategic and hands-on professional who can bridge the gap between client stakeholders and internal design & development teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge in project management, stakeholder management, and task prioritization while maintaining a strong focus on user experience, business objectives, and technical feasibility.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience in product ownership, project management, or digital product delivery, ideally in a mobile app environment.
  • Expert in stakeholder management, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills (English is a must; Arabic is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies, sprint planning, and backlog prioritization.
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams (UX/UI designers, developers, QA, business stakeholders).
  • Solid understanding of UI/UX design principles, user flows, and user experience best practices.
  • Basic technical knowledge of React Native capabilities and limitations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to balance business goals with technical feasibility.
  • Time management and multitasking expertise to ensure smooth execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent soft skills, including emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, and negotiation.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:

  • Experience in managing large-scale mobile apps or super apps.
  • Arabic language proficiency is a plus.
  • Prior experience working in client-facing roles at a digital agency or consultancy.
Responsibilities
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, ensuring alignment between business goals and digital execution.
  • Product Ownership: Define and prioritize the product roadmap, features, and backlog in collaboration with both the client and internal teams.
  • Project & Task Management: Oversee sprint planning, backlog grooming, and team deliverables to ensure timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Internal Team Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers, developers, and QA teams to translate requirements into actionable development tasks.
  • Technical Awareness: Have a foundational understanding of React Native capabilities, mobile development constraints, and UI/UX best practices to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • User-Centric Approach: Define and refine user personas, user flows, and customer journeys to ensure an optimal digital experience.
  • Status Reporting & Presentations: Deliver clear and structured updates to internal and external stakeholders on progress, challenges, and next steps.
  • Risk Management: Identify project risks early and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure features meet business requirements, user needs, and technical feasibility before launch.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously refine workflows and collaboration practices to improve efficiency.
