Description
We are seeking a senior Product Owner or Product Manager with extensive expertise in Cell and Gene Therapy to lead the strategy, development, and delivery of digital, operational, or scientific products within a highly regulated life sciences manufacturing environment. The role combines strategic product ownership with hands on operational leadership and requires close collaboration with cross functional teams operating within Agile delivery frameworks. Key Responsibilities Define and drive product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with overall business objectives Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight to ensure measurable business value delivery Communicate milestones, product increments, and technical outcomes to senior stakeholders through structured System Demos, PO Sync sessions, and formal reporting channels Lead and actively contribute to Program Increment Planning events, ensuring alignment with broader Agile Release Train objectives Own and manage the end to end lifecycle of user change requests, including system enhancements, interfaces, and recipe or configuration management Maintain and continuously refine a prioritized product backlog aligned with regulatory and operational requirements Ensure cross functional collaboration between scientific, digital, and manufacturing stakeholders Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Cell and Gene Therapy, Bioprocessing, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline 10 to 12 years of professional experience within the Cell and Gene Therapy domain Mandatory proficiency in German and English Proven experience as Product Owner, Product Manager, or in a comparable product leadership role Strong experience working within Agile and Scrum environments, ideally within scaled Agile frameworks Solid understanding of GxP regulatory requirements and compliance driven product development Experience supporting or leading digital transformation initiatives within life sciences Soft Skills Strong strategic thinking combined with deep scientific literacy Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders Confident decision making in regulated and compliance sensitive environments User centric mindset with a structured approach to requirement definition Ability to translate complex scientific and operational concepts into clear, actionable product requirements
