We’ll talk a bit more about us further down the page, but for now – let’s talk about the role and who we’re looking for… A bit about the role Reporting to the Head of Retail Technology, the Retail Delivery Product Owner will work hand-in-hand with the Retail Teams and Customer & Retailer Care as well as Scientific Games, Vodafone and other third-parties, to ensure that any Delivery applications, including SciTrak, Sitetracker and Gem continue to meet the evolving needs of the business. They will work with the business owners to understand and document changes in requirements, building a prioritised backlog of features, and work with the developers to deliver those changes into Production. They will also work within the Retail Technology team on service improvement and asset management, ensuring a service that is Fit for Purpose and meeting the needs of the business. As an analytical thinker, you will bring a mix of solution engineering and supply chain planning to develop operational solutions. What you’ll be doing Provide functional expertise of the delivery applications, interfaces and processes used at Allwyn, including the maintenance of retailer assets and master data in Gem and SiteTracker. Collaborate with business owners, end users & third parties to define the strategy and roadmap for delivery systems. Work with application owners around scoping and designing of new features, and maintain a prioritized backlog of features to be delivered. Working with both internal and third-party technical teams (as appropriate) to develop and test new features and deliver them into Production. Ensure the applications comply with all external requirements, including privacy regulations and security standards. Monitor KPIs and use data to measure the success of the product. Support Retail Operations, Retail Lifecycle and C&RC teams in managing effective system requirements and business processes to ensure optimal efficiency in the business and increase operational efficiency. Analyse incidents, identify trends and proactively work to reduce recurrence. What experience we’re looking for Strong background in operational and logistics systems, supplier management, asset control and inventory Developing functionality, creating user groups and operating system policies for Business systems Experience of working with retail systems, including point of sale hardware and software. Experience of FMCG or similar line of business. Experience of large, multiple system implementation projects, especially in the retail space. Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life-cycle, including requirements gathering and testing. Experience of analysing products and suppliers to support the decision-making process. Working knowledge of software development methodologies Proven ability to build rapport with stakeholders and communicate clearly Experience of communicating with all levels of departmental management Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills plus attention to detail. Act with integrity and due care, skill and diligence in carrying out your duties. Demonstration of a professional, team-oriented approach coupled with strong self-motivation and personal initiative.
