YOUR SKILLS MATTER

  • You have experience and deep understanding of Pricing and/or Yield, and optionally had already exposure to competition-based pricing models as well as general interest in pricing, yield and analyzing customer behavior
  • You have a university degree in an applicable field (e.g. computer science, mathematics, operations research, business economics) or proven experience as a Product Owner or Project Manager (m/f/d) in the environment of an agile organization (ideally your profile is rounded off by fluent English as well as knowledge of JIRA/Confluence)
  • You demonstrate strong skills in using analytics software (e.g. Python) and in database querying (e.g. SQL)
  • You can link analytical insights to business strategy and financial performance
  • You have excellent communication skills with the ability to convey analytical concepts to a non-technical audience, including senior executives, and you demonstrated leadership in managing projects and influencing cross-functional stakeholders/teams

Responsibilities
  • You are responsible for building innovative pricing products with global impact and work together with diverse stakeholders (mainly the US market) to improve the current price optimization models utilizing competitive data
  • You conduct a thorough quantitative analysis of competitive data to inform strategies aimed at price optimization, which will be aligned with fluctuating demand and seasonal trends
  • You lead the virtual team (when assigned) designing, developing and evaluating the models and analysis supporting pricing decisions utilizing external competitive data as well as internal booking patterns with the goal of maximizing the revenue per available fleet/car day
  • You keep track of the business impact of your products. You know your KPIs and metrics and apply them to structure and prioritize your backlog
  • You continuously shape the pricing & yield vision, the roadmap, and the products in cooperation with the international pricing and yield management business team
