ABOUT YOUR SKILLS

  • 2 to 3 years previous experience in role of Product Owner with proven hands-on experience managing all stages of product life cycle
  • Proficiency in the use of Agile planning tools (Azure DevOps, Aha!)
  • High degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal accountability along with the ability to work with multiple cross-functional teams to deliver on a common goal
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Familiar with product prioritization techniques and ability to prioritize effectively along with experience in the management of stakeholders and their expectations.
  • Experience as a product technical advisor to stakeholders including the customers, product manager, scrum master and development team

ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM

SITA is proud to present a great opportunity for a Product Owner to join our Borders team. You will be part of a diverse and creative team that is continually striving to offer the best quality products and services that are continuously transforming air travel.
In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in the development and enhancement of our Borders products. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including end-users, engineering, architects, and the business portfolios you will contribute to the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and beyond.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Create technical and feature roadmaps along with release planning, sprint goals, and grooming both technical and business functionality for multiple development projects
  • Prioritize and maintain the product backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders
  • Solve product-related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments
  • Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally and as the primary contact for queries related to the product
  • Work in an Agile environment and continuously review the business needs, decode technical requirements, refine the priorities, outline milestones and deliverables, and identify opportunities and risks; develop scope and define backlog items (epics/features) that guide the Agile team development.
  • Work closely with the Portfolio stakeholders, other Borders Product Owners, Engineering, and Architecture teams to ensure that best practices are integrated into all aspects of the technology stack.
