JOB OVERVIEW

The Product Owner will be responsible for overseeing all phases of the delivery life cycle, ensuring successful project outcomes that align with business objectives. This role involves close collaboration with Line of Business (LOB) executives and stakeholders to define delivery milestones, success criteria, and key performance metrics. The Product Owner will drive consensus on tactical and strategic solutions, manage budgets, and forecast resource needs for their Product Owner Domain (POD). This position requires exceptional stakeholder engagement, strong communication skills, and a proven track record in delivering workflow and RPA automations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering workflow and RPA automation projects.
  • At least 4 years of experience in the banking industry or fintech sector.
  • Scrum or PMP certification preferred.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and stakeholder relationships effectively.
  • Experience working in agile environments and driving consensus across cross-functional teams.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.
  • Preferred: Experience with defining and tracking KPIs, SLAs, and OKRs in a technology-driven environment.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of banking or fintech regulatory and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain high-touchpoint engagement with stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Drive consensus among stakeholders for both tactical and strategic solutions to meet business needs.
  • Manage budget and resource forecasting for the POD, ensuring efficient allocation and utilization of resources.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives) to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project-related communication, providing clear and concise updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, resolving blockers to keep projects on track.
