JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled Product Owner to work in our digital delivery group on a number of new initiatives. As the Product Owner, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including PMO, architecture, engineering, design, marketing, and sales to deliver exceptional user experiences. The Product Owner will develop and communicate the product goal, create and clearly communicate product backlog items, and order the backlog to maximize business value. You will own the product roadmap, prioritize features, and ensure the successful execution of the product vision.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in product management, a deep understanding of digital product development, and experience with Agile methodologies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Digital Marketing, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in product management, preferably in a digital or tech-focused environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering digital products from concept to launch.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX principles and experience collaborating with design teams.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and experience working in Agile environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; experience using data to inform product decisions.
  • Experience with product management tools (e.g., ADO, MIRO, Jira, Trello) and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, Slack, Confluence).
  • A passion for technology and staying updated on digital product trends.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certification in Agile Product Ownership (e.g., CSPO).
  • Experience in global pharmaceutical & supply chain industries
  • Familiarity with digital platforms, mobile apps, or SaaS products.
Responsibilities
  • Product Vision & Strategy:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define the vision, goals, and success metrics for the digital product.
  • Translate business objectives into a clear product roadmap that aligns with company goals.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and market changes to adapt the product strategy as needed.
  • Backlog Management:
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Break down high-level product features into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Continuously refine the backlog based on changing priorities, feedback, and business needs.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (PMO, architecture, engineering, design, QA, marketing, sales) to deliver high-quality digital products.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all product-related questions and decisions.
  • Communicate product updates, timelines, and deliverables to stakeholders and ensure transparency throughout the development process.
  • User-Centered Approach:
  • Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring the product meets user needs and solves pain points.
  • Gather and incorporate feedback from end-users, usability testing, and market research to drive product improvements.
  • Regularly assess product performance and make data-driven decisions to enhance the user experience.
  • Agile Development:
  • Ensure the team understands the product vision, scope, and priorities for each sprint.
  • Join sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives with the development team.
  • Identify and resolve any product blockers or challenges that may affect sprint progress.
  • Product Performance & Analysis:
  • Define and monitor key product metrics (KPIs) to measure success.
  • Analyze data to assess product performance and guide future product enhancements.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement based on customer feedback and data insights.
