We’re looking for a Product Owner – Regulatory & Compliance Journeys to join our Digital Channels Product team and play a key role in shaping and evolving regulatory and compliance experiences across Veikkaus’ Betting and iCasino platforms. The role ensures front-end efforts align with Digital Channels’ strategic goals and long-term product vision. You’ll bridge business needs, customer insights, and front-end requirements into efficient journeys, backlog priorities, leading cross-functional teams to deliver secure, compliant, and user-centered solutions. This position drives measurable outcomes that enhance player trust and experience, supporting Veikkaus’ mission of responsible and sustainable gaming. Key responsibilities Plan and manage the front-end product backlog and oversee priorities to balance short-term delivery needs with long-term objectives. Gather and translate complex front-end requirements-focusing on PAM journeys that integrate with regulatory and compliance frameworks-into actionable epics and user stories that align with the long-term roadmap while enabling short-term delivery. Collaboratively document and prioritize front-end requirements aligned with business and customer goals to enable frictionless, secure, and compliant user experiences, ensuring full alignment with Responsible Gaming (RG) and regulatory standards across all touchpoints. Maintain a holistic view of the customer journey, balancing business goals with regulatory compliance, data protection, and player safety obligations. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, UX, and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of agreed high-quality outcomes. Facilitate transparent communication between business, compliance, and technology stakeholders to ensure delivery outcomes meet both strategic and regulatory objectives Ensure alignment with the long-term business roadmap and strategy while enabling short-term delivery. Ensure measurement of success metrics and KPIs for front-end performance. Qualifications and experience At least 4 years in product ownership, business analysis, or related role. Strong backlog management, requirements gathering, and stakeholder collaboration skills. Familiarity with agile delivery practices and user experience principles. Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks and requirements within digital product environments. Experience working with compliance standards in the iGaming industry is highly valued. Experienced in working across digital channels, including mobile apps, mobile web, and desktop, is required.
