Job Details Job Location: Miami, FL 33142 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: None Salary Range: $14.00 - $14.00 Hourly Travel Percentage: None Job Shift: Day Job Category: Manufacturing Summary: The Product Packer performs manual operations as assigned; examples of these operations include, but are not limited to, marking, tagging, labeling, folding, sorting, and visually reviewing products to segregate them. Will assist the Packing supervisor and the Shipping supervisor in other activities related to the shipping department, such as replenishment of boxes and liners to the packers, and moving work from the QC Tables. This position is part of the AbilityOne Program, which provides employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Verify that all products being processed are sorted adequately according to work instructions. Segregate those products that ARE NOT part of the bundle to be processed. Verify that all the trimming, when applicable, is associated with the products that are being processed; such verification includes—but is not limited to —NSN numbers, sizes, MO numbers, contracts, and permethrin treatment labels. Continue with the next operation(s), if applicable, until the product is ready to be placed in boxes for final packing and palletizing. All other duties as assigned Qualifications Education and/or Experience: No formal education is required; however, basic mathematics, reading, and writing skills are required. At least six (6) months of related experience Language Skills: Basic English communication skill is preferred but not required.
