What you’ll contribute to
The Product Planning & Development (PPD) Division is responsible for planning, coordination and execution of all product activities in order to ensure new products are optimised to meet the future needs of customers.
The Product Planning Specialist is primarily responsible for supporting the development of mid-long term product planning recommendations and vehicle solutions in order to bring to market highly desirable products that maximise TMCA and Dealer profitability and achieve sales and customer satisfaction targets in the long term.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Implement agreed mid-long term product and vehicle safety planning processes and procedures consistent with set policies in order to achieve customer satisfaction, sales and profitability objectives in the long term.
  • Develop mid-long term product planning and vehicle safety processes and procedures to maximise product desirability, customer satisfaction, sales and profitability in the long term.
  • Contribute to the development of mid-long term product planning recommendations and vehicle safety solutions based on available market and product research information.
  • Regularly reports to stakeholders on the status of all projects, identifying progress and issues.
  • Prepare product information, review clarity and validate accuracy of technical content of product planning and marketing materials to ensure accurate product information is available for all stakeholders.
  • Analyse business reform opportunities across the entire product planning business unit to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain reporting systems to provide the business with accurate and timely information to support planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
  • Support compliance with product planning fleet operational rules, including requirements for vehicle use as imposed by regulatory or registration authorities.

  • Degree qualification in engineering, marketing, business or economics or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years’ accumulative marketing or product planning experience (ideally in automotive industry)
  • Understanding of automotive systems and technical terms
  • Understanding of sales and marketing process
  • Experience in market research and cost planning financial analysis
  • Experienced with using MS Excel
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong stakeholder management and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with all.
