ARE YOU OUR NEW PRODUCT PROJECT MANAGER?
We’re seeking a Product Project Manager reporting into the head of our PMO (Project Management Office), to coordinate the deployment, adoption, and optimization of our solutions across the business to transform how our customers use operational technology (OT) systems to deploy, manage and protect critical infrastructure, impacting energy, water and manufacturing globally.
SO, WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
The Product Project Manager is responsible for planning and tracking from start to finish new product launches, enhancements and market extension projects. Our PMO is looking for a passionate, self-motivated individual to join our team of professionals to ensure our hardware, software and services go beyond a range of industry benchmarks worldwide. You will be a key part of the PMO as a Project Manager as a well as the Activator Platform Team (as Product Manager).
You will be part of a skilled and dedicated PMO in Dublin, and across Europe working side by side helping each other out, sharing knowledge and experience. As an important part of a growing global business, we work in a structured yet pragmatic way, to ensure accountability and continuous improvement in our processes to shorten time-to-market.
The Product Project Manager is a critical role in the company, working with other Product and Projects Managers ensuring Activator remains the class leader and executes a predictable flow of software release plans, such that our sales teams and customers can have the utmost confidence in product availability across the globe. They will be responsible for the scope, risks, dependencies, budgeting, and validation test planning as well as the strategic roadmap for Activator.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- Bachelor’s (B.S, B.Eng. etc.) degree in science / technology related discipline.
- 5+ years industry experience, Capable of working independently.
- Ability to motivate and support team members to achieve project goals.
- Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur during the project lifecycle
- Translate product requirements into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria
- Ensure timely and successful delivery of product releases.
- Exhibit strong project management skills across projects/stakeholders simultaneously.
- Oversee development timelines, proactively identifying risks and mitigations.
- Capable of managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Experience in product or project management, or operations in the ICT sector.
- Exceptional communications, organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Exceptional project governance via cross-functional status meetings.
- Produce reports that organise information that is clear/ easily referenced
- Collect, build and manage the product specification library.
- Ability to translate technical outputs into actionable insights for non-technical users.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Plan, organise, and execute multiple concurrent tasks, working tight project timelines.
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in functionality or user experience.
- Build cohesive team structures to streamline coordination across projects/functions.
- Implement robust tracking and observability tools to monitor project performance.
- Maintain alignment across development teams to deliver impactful solutions.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Relentless focus on product and customer needs.
GOOD UNDERSTANDING OF AND EXPERIENCE WITH:
- MS Sharepoint, MS Project
- Project tracking tools (e.g.ADO, GitLab, Jira, Trello, or Kanban boards).
ADVANTAGEOUS WOULD-BE COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY EXPERIENCE INCLUDING:
- Networking principles and design
- Software Development Lifecycle
- Familiarity with data analytics tools and processes such as Power BI
- Certification in Project Management; e.g., Prince2, APM, PMI, PDMA
- Agile Practitioner with 3+ years in an agile software development.
- Experience with writing user stories

Responsibilities:
Based on-site in Dublin office, you will make a significant and immediate impact leading a variety of projects, of varying sizes, from start to finish – coordinating across functions and keeping stakeholders up to date on progress and deadlines, developing and managing to budget, schedule. As a Product Owner/Manager you will have a unique opportunity to set the vision and influence the roadmap for our market leading offering in the market. You will be one of a team of very senior and experienced project and program managers responsible for a range of projects. You will join an ambitious team creating new products, as well as maintaining and extending existing offerings. developing and driving roadmaps and building enhancements within an existing hardware, software and supply chain projects.
As a Product Project Manager you will be part of a fast-moving, high-impact team that collaborates across functions to create and execute roadmaps for a class leading suite of software services to work with our flagship range of cellular routing devices. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our offerings models deliver measurable value while meeting key standards, user requirements and security needs contributing to design specifications.
You will be part of a core part of the PMO team and an extended part of a team responsible for development of the Activator management systems as its Product Manager.
