AS THE PRODUCT & PROPOSITIONS DEVELOPMENT ANALYST YOU WILL COORDINATE ALL PHASES OF NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT, INCLUDING RESEARCH AND DESIGN, FINANCING, PRICING, MARKETING, SALES AND DISTRIBUTION. YOU WILL ALSO DEVELOP OVERALL MARKETING OBJECTIVES AND STRATEGY AND FURTHER PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT WHILE WORKING CLOSELY WITH CUSTOMER BASE TO IDENTIFY KEY NEEDS AND APPROPRIATE PRODUCT SOLUTIONS. THEN AS APPROPRIATE YOU WILL FUNNEL INFORMATION TO THE OTHER AREAS WITHIN THE ORGANIZATION, SUCH AS MANUFACTURING AND SALES.

Location - Leicester with occasional travel to Windsor. We have a flexible working policy and currently there is only a requirement to come into the office once a month for team days and ac hoc team meetings.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring it meets customers’ needs and drives key sales and retention activities and targets
  • Support the Product Development Manager in developing product strategies to maximise the value of the customer base
  • Review portfolio performance and implement improvements
  • Support product and proposition idea generation, always looking at how we can differentiate to our competitors
  • Work closely with colleagues across the business to take products and propositions to market
  • Support the SAP to Ensek sales channel cutover delivery
  • Identify and manage any regulatory risks associated with the design and delivery of consumer products
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of the energy market and competitor offers to deliver a competitive advantage through the product portfolio
