What You Will Do
As a Product Research Intern with Trimble, you will contribute to a dynamic team of product & design research professionals, assisting with a broad spectrum of customer research activities that inform Trimble’s cross-product strategies and new technology initiatives such as AI.

You will be working within the NZ arm of a global team, collaborating with members across multiple locations, and you will gain practical experience in a range of customer and strategic research areas:

  • Collaborate with design and product teams to translate research insights into actionable recommendations
  • Contribute to the creation of research reports and presentations
  • Assist the research team in identifying user needs and market trends
  • Support customer research methods, such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing
  • Help analyze research data and synthesize findings
  • Support the team in understanding customer pain points and opportunities.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

  • Curiosity, and a passion for understanding people, their context, and why they do what they do
  • Currently studying a diploma or bachelor’s in a design, market research, or customer research-related field
  • Some experience or study in Voice of Customer, or Qualitative and/or quantitative research methodologies
  • Good communication skills with the ability to tell ‘human’ stories
  • An ability to tell stories visually through graphs, or graphics
  • Some interest in user-centered design principles and practices
  • Familiarity with research tools (e.g., survey platforms, data analysis software) is helpful but not essential.
