Responsibilities

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

2,100 colleagues from 46 countries, including 800 engineers, shape in Hennigsdorf the future of rail mobility. The locally developed, manufactured, and maintained product range includes high-speed, regional, and local trains, subways, as well as trams and light rail vehicles. Our product line Rolling Stock & Components offers products from the broadest portfolio in the rail industry. Our innovation focus is on green and smart solutions, including emission-free propulsion systems such as batteries and hydrogen. You’ll report to Sebastian Jungen, the Domain Lead RAMS and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • A university degree (B.Sc., M.Sc. or equivalent), or an equivalent working experience.
  • Proven record of relevant safety and/or reliability experience.
  • Working experience in project assignments.
  • Knowledge and experience in the application of safety and reliability assessment techniques (FTA, risk matrix, FME(C)A, etc.).
  • Knowledge of relevant software tools (e.g. DOORS, Fault Tree+, etc.) is of benefit.
  • Knowledge and experience in the interpretation and application of relevant standards, laws, regulation: may include EN 5012x, MIL-STD-882, IEEE Std 1012, CSM for Risk Assessment, etc.
  • Background knowledge in any engineering area (e.g. brakes, etc.) may be beneficial.
  • Fluent in English and German
