Description Responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including lifting and moving heavy materials (up to 55 lbs), maintaining a clean and organized work environment, collecting samples from railcars, and always prioritizing safety. Key Responsibilities Safety: Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and report any unsafe conditions or incidents immediately. Place a blue flag on railcars when performing sampling or maintenance tasks as required. Never climb on top of railcars; use designated safe access methods and equipment. Material Handling: Lift, move, and stack materials weighing up to 55 lbs safely and efficiently. Sampling: Safely collect samples from railcars following established procedures. Oversee the operation of the packaging line, ensuring products are packed correctly and efficiently. Housekeeping · Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the warehouse, including sweeping, trash removal, and cleaning work areas. · Support Operation Clean Sweep commitments: we have zero tolerance for plastic pellet, flake, or powder release into the environment. Clean up spills immediately and report all spills to a supervisor. Requirements All candidates are required to have access to a phone and/or computer with Internet capabilities in order to complete their online Onboarding process through Paylocity Corp prior to their start date. Teamwork: Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals. Other Duties: Perform other warehouse tasks as assigned. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods. Capable of lifting and carrying up to 55 lbs repeatedly.
