The Tech Logistics Execution team's Key Purpose is for the roll out of all transformation technology for Logistics warehousing & transportation. The Product Specialist will be accountable for: Partnering with our customers by building the best Execution application landscape in Africa and enabling successful and accurate payments of carriers across the Africa Zone Responsible for supporting the Execution ecosystem of products across all the countries in the Africa Zone Work with the development teams to build the appropriate enhancements and interfaces to enable all required payment capabilities Key roles and responsibilities: Sound understanding of logistics transportation payment principles to ensure successful enablement through technology projects Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions Project management, prioritization and business expectation management skills Business Requirements/Backlog Management Lead the technical development team to deliver new products that meet business requirements by working closely with developers and business stakeholders Support on documenting processes, system logic, testing, change management for Spotlight for our Aurora Program Owning of Scrum Routines and Scrum Masters with our technical development team and with stakeholders to deliver technology products that create value for our business Support multiple projects on multiple sites by ensuring clear delegation of duties and effective communication Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure and communicate effectively to a wide range of stakeholders Accurately document requirements, testing results and training materials Define training methodologies and roll out strategies Support the business throughout the change management process Performing user acceptance testing UAT sign off workshop management Train and support users throughout roll out Training/Change management Drive User Adoption throughout roll out Develop, maintain and support training and user-friendly documentation for software applications Support users and application support team post go live and in day-to-day operations Key Attributes and Competencies: Financial background & experience with complex payment methodologies advantageous Analytical thinking and problem-solving using data driven decision making Proven track record delivering projects within agreed timelines Well-articulated and structured communication skills is a mandate as the person will be pivotal in communicating with business from across the globe and development team. Understanding of Logistics Warehousing and Inventory principles Retains the pulse of domain or business area by remaining connected to various stakeholder groups.
