About the role As Obex grows, we have a newly created Product Specialist Role within our Aortic Intervention team. This person will work alongside the Clinical Product Lead as they develop and master the skills required for this dynamic medical specialty. Aortic Intervention is a flagship business area for Obex. This role is suited for someone who is passionate about exceptional customer collaboration, is self-motivated, can articulate technical information in high pressured environments and wants to work with some of the best technologies available in New Zealand in this Therapy area. You will report to the Business Manager and become a key contributor within this high-performing sales and clinical support team. You will manage your own territory, drive revenue growth, identify and execute on sales opportunities, meet and exceed sales objectives. You will collaborate closely with the Clinical Product Lead to deliver exceptional customer service and case support to achieve and deliver on team goals and objectives. Working closely with Vascular Surgeons, Interventional Radiologists Vascular and Interventional Radiology Nurses, and MRT’s,  your day may look like the following * Working with clinicians to plan cases using specialised software * Work with CPL and Supply Chain to ensure right sizing is available. * Manage hospital inventory, consignment and boot stock for emergency cases * Providing expert case support * Provide ongoing education and training to clinicians and Allied Health Professionals * This role has a high travel component You will be provided with competitive base salary, including bonus on deliverables, car allowance and fuel card, medical insurance. What you’ll bring You may come from a clinical background or already be in medical device sales — either way, you’re hungry to grow and ready to step into a specialist role. We’re looking for: * A genuine commitment to customer service * Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet timelines * A self‑driven, analytical mindset with a natural problem‑solving approach * A collaborative spirit and willingness to support wider team goals Requirements * Territory qualifications in Science, Business, Biomedical Science, Nursing or Radiography * Previous experience in Medical Device Sales within a technical therapy area – endovascular preferred.
