PRODUCT SPECIALIST

For Digital Hub Warsaw, we are looking for:

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES (EDUCATION, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Proven experience as Product Designer with the ServiceNow platform, specifically AppEngine, and related modules
  • Experience with IT solution space for Service Management (e.g., ICT integration) and Process Automation
  • Fluency in best practices for architecture and design of IT products.
  • Strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques.
  • Familiarity with Ideation and Story Boarding techniques for UX (User eXperience) design methodologies
  • Communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Hands-on project experience working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs in a larger implementation context
  • Experience in a highly Agile/scrum environments.
  • Knowledge about Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Good Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong conceptual, quantitative, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work successfully with people from a variety of different cultures and backgrounds.
Responsibilities

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead design sessions with stakeholders to establish standards, enhance ServiceNow (SNOW) utilization, and reduce workload for architects, while ensuring value realization and return on investment through a clear product vision and prioritized backlog.
  • Create solutions that address complex challenges using a human-centered design methodology, improving service management and workflow usability through user research methods.
  • Collaborate with Software Engineers, Architects, Product Managers, and Designers to refine UI and workflows, and rapidly express concepts via wireframing and prototyping.
  • Organize design critiques to solicit feedback, and support digital product teams in defining goals, signals, and metrics for continuous improvement.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, guiding stakeholders in creating solution designs that align with business objectives.
  • Embody a training role in “Train-the-trainer” initiatives for Citizen Development training on ServiceNow App Engine usage, while promoting high standards for digital product experiences and demonstrating awareness of accessibility and industry design standards.Serve as an ambassador for Product Design within the organization and the broader design community, participating in product launch activities to drive adoption.
