About the job Flatpay is on a mission to simplify and support how small businesses operate. As we continue expanding our product offering in Europe, we are looking for a Product Specialist to join us in ensuring our products are ready for the Dutch market - both in function and experience. As a Product Specialist, you will help bridge the gap between product development and the reality on the ground. You’ll work closely with teams in Product, Sales, Support, Operations, and Engineering - collaborating across teams while staying deeply rooted in your local market. This is a practical, hands-on role where you’ll be close to the product and even closer to the users. You’ll be involved in setting up systems, reviewing customer feedback, observing merchant behavior, and helping roll out new features. You’ll play a direct role in shaping our success in the Netherlands. What you'll do In Your First 30 Days Complete onboarding in Denmark and meet your product team peers Explore and test Flatpay’s POS and Pay solutions Build a strong understanding of how our products are used today Get introduced to Sales, Ops, and Support teams in the Netherlands In Your First 60 Days Set up demo environments and test real-life scenarios Start internal feedback loops with Sales and Ops Begin documenting market-specific feedback Share your first internal product update Ongoing Responsibilities Act as the local point of contact for product questions Support with triaging bugs and product feedback Document and share observations from customer visits Prepare materials for internal knowledge sharing Help shape product decisions based on real merchant experience Who you are Fluent in Dutch and English Collaborative, curious, and self-driven Strong communicator and problem solver Digitally literate and comfortable with testing new tools Motivated to work across teams and markets Passion for making an impact Requirements Experience working with digital tools (Slack, Notion, Office, etc.) Comfortable learning and teaching tools or systems Reliable, hands-on, and structured Willing to travel for onboarding and collaboration (e.g. Danish HQ, team offsites) Nice to Have Background in product, support, or sales enablement Experience in retail, hospitality, or small business environments Interest in point-of-sale systems or payment solutions Why Flatpay?
