Description SUPERVISED BY: General Manager ESA Status: Salaried POSITION SUMMARY: Complete product inspections, installations, repairs, and training in the field. Assist in creating, scheduling and timely completion of annual product inspections in the field. Provide customer service at the customer’s location to repair and train customer personnel when directed. Assist with internal training and trade shows. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Schedule and complete all field product inspections Create new inspection opportunities Repair equipment as needed in field and/or at shop Install and maintain all Gray products as needed Attend trade shows as needed Provide internal training to Gray staff as directed Support sales staff through directing product demonstrations in the field Complies with company safety procedures, rules, and regulations, performing the job in a safe manner utilizing personal protective equipment and safety devices. QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma required Experience using various types of hand tools Legally eligibile to work in Canada. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must be able to efficiently use telephone and other assigned equipment Computer knowledge (emails, accessing data, etc.) Positive attitude - a must Superior work ethic, reliability and trustworthiness Strong Communication Skills – Must be able to communicate with and understand the needs and requests, both written and oral, of customers, and co-workers. Must be able to work well with others as a part of a team effort Must be courteous and represent Gray in a professional manner PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to operate fork truck or able to certify Ability to meet MTO requirements and drive service van, pickup truck and trailer. Lifting, twisting, reaching, carrying, bending, pushing, pulling, climbing, etc. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Ability to safely stand for 95% as needed, i.e., inspections, training, trade show. Frequent daytime travel is required; occasional overnight travel (up to a week) is required.
Responsibilities
