KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or Higher Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience in the Material Processing, Quarrying, Recycling, or Bulk Handling industries.
• Strong technical knowledge of conveying systems, along with crushers, screeners, and shredders.
• Familiarity with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems in heavy equipment.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent), not essential.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to balance technical and customer requirements.
• Willingness to travel to OEM customer sites and supplier facilities.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Product Specialist to play a key role in the development and delivery of components for the Material Processing industry, with a particular emphasis on conveying systems.
The successful candidate will work alongside our sales team and directly with industry-leading OEM customers, supporting the design, development, and integration of components across Distag QCS’s product lines, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
This is a customer-facing, technically focused role that combines product development, engineering design, and commercial awareness.
