About The Job
Salvos Stores Merchandise - Customer & Strategy are looking for a talented Product Specialist to support the execution of product availability and stock management across the Merchandise team. The Product Specialist is responsible for forecasting, ordering, allocating, and monitoring purchased product across assigned regions

You will be experienced in;

  • Forecasting and preparing purchasing recommendations using the Buying Plan and WSSI/WIZZY data, and raise accurate, timely purchase orders in line with approved open-to-buy and sales trends.
  • Coordinating daily and weekly allocations from assigned DC(s) to stores, considering sales performance, stock levels, range assortments, and visual merchandising requirements.
  • Analyse SKU-level data to identify risks and opportunities; recommend and execute stock transfers, markdowns or promotional boosts to support store performance.
  • Manage end-to-end stock flow for a designated region or DC zone, including PO validation, stock intake and dispatch coordination, liaising with Logistics as needed.
  • Engage directly with Stores (Retail) and Logistics teams to troubleshoot stock issues, clarify product movements, and ensure alignment on allocation priorities.
  • Hold a valid Drivers Licence.

About You
Previous experience in a similar industry, while highly regarded, is not essential. What is essential is your experience in Stock Management and Allocation, Organisational Awareness and Accountability and Accuracy.
You will be an outstanding written and verbal communicator with strong interpersonal skills. Solid technical skills and experience using Workday HCM system experience, highly regarded.
