POSITION SUMMARY

As a Product Strategy Manager within our Border Security (BorSec) division, you will be the subject matter expert on CBN’s systems related to passport, visa, and border management technologies. You will operate at the nexus of business development, operations, research and development and product management. You’ll participate in defining and developing the strategic direction of our suite of solutions and ensuring that our offerings meet the ever-evolving needs of our customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) and business acumen or a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (or related field) and an affinity for technology
  • Knowledge of the following:
  • Product management strategies/tools
  • Agile or Scrum methodologies
  • 5+ years of experience in product management or strategic marketing position
  • Experience with LEAN manufacturing practices and principles is an asset
  • Experience with ICAO technical standards and/or passenger facilitation is an asset.

Technological Skills

  • Proficiency with MS O365
  • Knowledge of FlexSim or other simulation software is an asset

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Government of Canada Secret (Level II) personal security clearance

  • Support the development of internal business cases for new product development
  • Product Management
  • Act as a key member of the product management team focused on border security solutions.
  • Provide guidance to the Product Owner and our development teams, ensuring alignment with client needs and market demands.
  • Proposal Development
  • Serve as a critical resource in responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), helping to articulate meaningful and customized propositions that resonate with potential clients.
