Sandvik Mining Product Support Advisor – Mount Isa, Queensland About the opportunity Join Sandvik as a Product Support Advisor (PSA) based at our customer site in Mount Isa. This role is critical in supporting the safe and efficient operation of Sandvik equipment by providing technical expertise, maintenance support, and data-driven solutions to improve machine reliability and availability. You’ll act as the primary Sandvik technical liaison on-site, assisting with fault analysis, software updates, and on-the-job coaching to enhance maintenance execution. For a local candidate, this role will be working 12-hour day shifts on a 4 and 3 roster. For a FIFO candidate, this role will be working 12-hour day shifts on a 8 and 6 roster. This role is offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the opportunity for redeployment within Sandvik into another position upon successful completion and acceptance. Responsibilities: Monitor fleet performance using MySandvik and onboard diagnostic tools Develop and implement initiatives to improve reliability and reduce downtime Support maintenance planning and proactive scheduling Analyse equipment utilisation and prepare detailed reports Perform software updates and ensure completion tracking Provide technical fault-finding and troubleshooting assistance Deliver feedback and short-form training to improve maintenance execution Comply with Sandvik safety standards and conduct risk assessments About you To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate would possess post-trade qualifications in automotive or engineer or similar. Prior knowledge and experience on Sandvik underground drills and other equipment would be essential and the successful candidate must hold a current drivers’ license. Agencies need not apply.
