The product support engineer is primarily responsible for performing customer support activities related to the installation, engineering, and use of HanAra’s software. Like all positions at HanAra, this will require the customer support engineer to be passionate and to continuously improve and iterate.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in software project implementation and installation
  • Network administration knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • Database management knowledge
  • SCADA/DCS/HMI software systems knowledge is preferred
  • Ability to configure plant data interfaces such as OPC, Modbus, BACnet, etc.
  • Associate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation and Control, or related field or related experience
Responsibilities

The job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Install solutions at the customer site and provide the necessary engineering services
  • Provide onsite and offsite technical support to customers
  • Follow up with customers to ensure successful resolution of issues
  • Provide technical expertise and documentation as needed
  • Work with the product development and engineering departments to enhance the solutions based on user and customer feedback
  • Work with the sales department to provide technical expertise to potential customers
