Position Title: Product Support Project Manager
Location: The Colony, TX
Department: Product Support / Service Operations
Reports To: Director of Product Support
OverviewThe Product Support Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing key initiatives that enhance product reliability, improve service response, and streamline communication between manufacturing, headquarters, and field teams. This role focuses on managing product quality issues, implementing product improvement bulletins, and supporting the Regional Product Support Manager in driving operational excellence. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects that directly impact customer satisfaction and product performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong project management skills with experience in service or product support environments.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with service management systems, reporting tools, and root cause analysis processes preferred.
  • Technical understanding of construction or industrial equipment is a plus.
    This role will also work closely with Key Account Sales Management and the Key Account Product Support Manager to ensure seamless communication, drive issue resolution, and enhance overall performance for United Rentals from an internal support position.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred) OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years in parts management, service coordination, or related operations.
  • Strong data management and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, service management tools, and Excel/reporting software.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and vendor negotiation skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
