Work Flexibility: Field-based Product Support Specialist - Toscana e Umbria The Job's Mission The Stryker Product Support Specialist responsibilities include directly supporting all Stryker products associated with Joint Replacement procedures (including robotic surgery with Mako). This role will focus on servicing and supporting our clinical customers to strive for best-in-class specialist support with procedural excellence. Additional responsibilities include working with the local sales team to coordinate training and events and managing day to day requirements of business support, ensuring Stryker delivers exceptional levels of service to our broad range of customers. Providing support for MAKO robotic procedures, and manual joint replacement surgeries. Providing theatre and wider HCP staff with training on Stryker products. Working closely with team members within the defined region, and the Regional Sales Manager, to ensure customer service levels are best in class. Auditing theatre Stryker stock (implants, disposables and instruments), managing consignment inventory and ensuring good asset management practice. Understanding the clinical application of the broader Stryker business to always offer customers the best possible solution. Conducting trials and evaluations of products in both theatre and the clinical environment as and when required. Implementation of training, provision of instruments and implementation of new Stryker business. This could include organizing and conducting training workshops and events for a broad customer group. Communicating essential features and benefits of products and their clinical application. Always demonstrating outstanding ethics. Treating customers and other employees with respect and representing Stryker in the best possible light. Behaving with integrity and delivering on commitments within required timescales. Observing customer needs and liaising with sales colleagues to follow up on and introduce new or additional Stryker products and/or support. Maintaining a basic business plan highlighting daily, weekly, and monthly objectives. Developing an understanding of the local healthcare environment and regional strategy. Additional responsibilities as directed by RSM (Regional Sales Manager). What you need Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, healthcare or related experience/training in a medical, scientific, technical field 2 years of work experience in the healthcare industry, ideally in Robotic and Orthopedic Fluent level of Italian and advanced level of English (C1 minimum) Strong knowledge of the healthcare industry Preferred Qualifications: Sales experience working with Medical devices Experience working in Operating rooms Experience working with tenders in regulated environments MBA or Masters Role details: Territory: Toscana & Umbria Based Location: Florence Type: Field Travel percentage: 80% Operating Room: 70% What We Offer Company Car. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
