POSITION SUMMARY:

Seeking a highly self-motivated individual that has experience managing multidisciplinary teams and/or projects in the Aerospace (or related) Industry. The position will work closely with project/product managers and engineers to deliver a drone-payload system with applications across the military, public safety and energy infrastructure. The role will consist of (but is not limited to) the key responsibilities listed below.
Travel: up to 25%

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS + 3 years in engineering field with emphasis on product development and system optimization
• Team and/or project leadership
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Interface between engineering development and customer
• Prior engagement with military customers & end users
• Design & executing System level test and customer driven demonstrations
• CONOPS development
• Building and executing task lists
• US Citizen

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years engineering in Systems, Aerospace, Mechanical
• System testing and data evaluation
• Proposal Writing & Review (STTR,SBIR,NIAC,etc.)
• Drone flight experience (Part 107 Certified)
• MAVLink Experience
• Security Clearance

I. Maintaining the engineering product development schedules to ensure deliverables are completed
II. Writing, executing and evaluating system level tests and demonstrations to further product TRLs
III. Interface with potential customers to build a Program of Record for the drone-payload system
