Description
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Product Tech Lead in Europe. This role offers the opportunity to transform product vision into tangible, high-impact software solutions for global energy-system stakeholders. As Product Tech Lead, you will bridge engineering, product, and leadership, guiding a team of engineers to deliver technically excellent, user-focused open-source tools. You will play a pivotal role in shaping product roadmaps, prioritizing initiatives, and ensuring technical excellence while fostering a culture of collaboration, autonomy, and impact. This is a remote-first role with occasional travel, allowing you to influence products across multiple countries and directly contribute to advancing the global energy transition. You will operate at the intersection of strategy and execution, ensuring the tools built have real-world usability, adoption, and measurable outcomes. \n Accountabilities: Lead new product initiatives end-to-end: from user research and concept validation to implementation, launch, and continuous improvement. Define and drive your team’s roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on strategy and user impact, and communicate decisions with product leadership. Act as a bridge between product and engineering, translating user and stakeholder needs into actionable technical solutions. Build prototypes, test assumptions early, iterate rapidly, and ensure the delivery of usable, maintainable, and reliable software. Collaborate cross-functionally with UX/UI, Marketing, QA, and leadership for coordinated delivery and go-to-market readiness. Apply lessons learned from prior product experience to improve team processes, product quality, and delivery efficiency. Maintain clear, proactive communication in a fully remote environment to reduce ambiguity and keep projects on track. Requirements: Proven experience building and launching digital products end-to-end, owning outcomes rather than just outputs. Strong product mindset: understanding the “why” and “for whom” behind the software being built. Senior software engineering experience, ideally in full-stack web development (Python, Java; operational research experience is a plus). Familiarity with product development practices such as agile, user research, design thinking, and rapid prototyping. Hands-on ability to prototype, iterate, and collaborate closely with engineers on equal footing. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for a fully remote, asynchronous environment. People-first leadership style, fostering psychological safety, constructive challenge, and inclusion principles. Strong curiosity and pragmatism, with the ability to focus on what truly matters and say “no” to less impactful ideas. Fluency in English; additional languages are a bonus. University degree is optional; demonstrated experience, judgment, and craft are valued above formal education. Benefits: Flexible, fully-remote work environment with high autonomy and zero micro-management. Opportunity to influence meaningful societal impact in the global energy transition. Culture of transparency, empathy, trust, collaboration, and recognition. Competitive salary with growth potential, with additional benefits based on region. Supportive onboarding and training tailored to individual strengths and career ambitions. Opportunity to help shape company culture, processes, and team formation in a growing organization. \n Why Apply Through Jobgether?
