Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities * Execute engineering tasks and support production to achieve process KPIs: Output, Quality, and Scrap Cost. * Perform periodic verification and manage test fallout dispositions. * Analyze test log files to identify failure modes and troubleshoot failed modules. * Follow up on Special Build Requests and compile data summaries for product engineers. * Troubleshoot, and maintain manufacturing process equipment to meet yield targets. * Demonstrate strong observational skills to detect discrepancies and understand test processes in detail. * Communicate effectively with peers and cross-functional teams to enhance collaboration. * Provide clear updates and feedback to ensure smooth operations. * Drive continual improvement initiatives and optimize resource utilization. * Perform any other duties as assigned by the immediate superior. Education & Experience * Diploma of Engineering preferably majoring in Mechatronics/Mechanical/Electrical. Minimum 5 years of working experience in semiconductor industries, preferably 8 years’ experience working in high mix and high-volume manufacturing environment will be an added advantage. Skills * Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving * Willing to work on 12-hours shift, independently and able to solve basic technical issues. * Good computer literacy, SPC & OPAC knowledge. * Must exhibit a strong sense of analytical skills with hands on working attitude. * Adaptable and flexible to rapid changes to the business needs of the company. * Good knowledge of mechanical dimensioning & tolerancing analysis, poka-yoke principles will be an added advantage.
