About Us The Technical Lead plays a pivotal role in guiding engineering teams through complex technical challenges, ensuring robust solutions, and fostering the works for innovation. This role focuses on delivering high-quality technical outcomes, driving team effectiveness, and supporting the development of future-ready technologies & product readiness. About the Role o Technical Leadership: As the technical partner to the Design Manager, you as the Technical Lead will need to ensure alignment & timely decisions with Design Manager. You will also need to provide technical guidance and direction to engineers within your team. You will ensure design integrity, resolve technical issues, coordinate technical review and to resolve high-risk issues that align with the project goals. Your role involves driving the milestone readiness by validating deliverables & escalating gating items. o Project Delivery & Influence: You will lead technical aspects of projects, by interrogate system, review of product requirements, assign ownership, ensuring delivery of milestones and adherence to compliance & product safety. Actively participate to extend your technical influence to manage the technical risks and ensure smooth project transitions and maturity. o Requirements & Risks Management: You will ensure all design-to-requirements have documented rationale and meet governance standards via the creation and validation of design requirements. Identify potential risks early, lead DFMEA session, maintain the risk trackers and implement mitigation strategies. Facilitate risks review sessions to ensure compliance with best practices for risk management. o Technical In-Depth: You will drive the resolution of the system-level architecture and ensure subsystem responsibilities are clearly defined. Facilitate trade-off analysis and specification negotiations to optimize product performance. Ensure testing and production controls have been reflected on system diagrams. o Technology Awareness: You will stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends. Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement for the overall product development. o Coaching & Mentorship: You will coach and mentor engineers, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing for better product development via lesson learnt session. Partner with people leaders to identify skill gaps and promote best practices across the department for product development. o Continuous Improvement: You champion process improvements, system approach and suggest elements for best practices in tools and workflows. Encourage systematic knowledge capture and contribute to the evolution of core technical disciplines and promote efficient way of working to enhance team effectiveness for better project outcomes.
