Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Product Test Technician to join our Production Team, based in Kewdale, Western Australia.

The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

  • Performing electromechanical, electronic and RF testing on electronic and low voltage systems, products and subassemblies to ensure product function according to specification.
  • Interpret test schedules, documentation, performance specifications and schematic drawings to determine test procedure and equipment to be used.
  • Quality inspection of product.
  • Update test procedures to maintain relevance

You will need to be a motivated team player that has the ability to take responsibility for everything you do. Quality is the name of the game and focus in this area is paramount. Applicants must have a level of experience and skills in the following areas:

  • Technical diploma/Cert in Electrical field
  • Experience in Electrical/Electronic assembly work
  • Hand soldering skills
  • High level troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Test equipment knowledge
  • Ability to interpret test documentation and schematic drawings.
  • Able to focus on job at hand
  • Excellent eye for detail
  • Very high standard of workmanship
  • Very well-developed communication skills
  • PC skills
