Position Overview We are seeking a high-calibre Product Trainer to join our Johannesburg-based team and play a pivotal role in shaping performance across our global operations. This role goes beyond facilitation. You will be responsible for diagnosing learning needs, designing outcomes-driven training solutions, and delivering high-impact interventions that directly support business and client objectives. You will work closely with Operations, Quality, and leadership teams to ensure our people are equipped to perform at an elite level. The role supports international operations and requires flexibility to work US-aligned hours, including night shifts where applicable. Key Responsibilities Learning Needs Analysis & Strategy Analyse and diagnose training requirements in line with business objectives, performance gaps, and client expectations. Continuously review learning effectiveness to ensure relevance, quality, and measurable impact. Learning Design & Development Design and develop outcomes-based learning programmes and materials tailored to diverse audiences. Create engaging, high-quality content for instructor-led, virtual, and e-learning delivery. Ensure learning interventions are aligned with operational realities and performance metrics. Training Delivery & Facilitation Facilitate dynamic, interactive training sessions using a variety of delivery methodologies. Deliver bespoke product, process, and performance training to internal teams and external stakeholders. Adapt facilitation styles to suit different learner groups, cultures, and experience levels. Training Implementation & Coordination Plan, coordinate, and execute training initiatives end-to-end, ensuring seamless delivery and learner engagement. Create and communicate training schedules in consultation with relevant stakeholders. Evaluation & Continuous Improvement Conduct pre- and post-training assessments to measure knowledge transfer and behavioural change. Gather and analyse feedback and performance data to evaluate training impact. Recommend corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives where required. Research and introduce innovative learning tools, methods, and best practices. Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting Build and maintain strong partnerships with Operations, Quality, and Management teams. Compile detailed post-training reports with insights, trends, and recommendations. Maintain accurate learner records and training documentation. Qualifications Essential Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Trainer or Facilitator, ideally within a BPO or contact centre environment. Accredited Outcomes-Based Assessor and Moderator. ODETD qualification (SETA accredited). Strong experience in learning content design and development. Proficiency in learner management systems and e-learning platforms. Excellent organisational, analytical, and business report-writing skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently across all organisational levels. Flexibility to work US hours, including night shifts. Preferred Experience delivering product-led or performance-driven training at scale. Exposure to fast-growing, high-performance operational environments. Experience working with international clients and multicultural teams.
