Description

We at CaseGuard, Inc. are seeking a talented user experience designer to join our team. This role is a big opportunity for a designer to use their design skills and rapid prototyping to not only solve known clients’ needs and experiences but uncover new opportunities along the way.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of visual design experience.
  • 2+ years of experience as a User Experience Designer, Interaction Designer, Information Architect, or similar UX-related role.
  • 2+ years of experience creating prototypes or highly detailed wireframes for different applications.
  • An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating relevant experience.
  • Fluency in best practices for information architecture and interaction design, user-centered design process, as well as strong knowledge of user experience principles, techniques, and patterns.
  • Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Arlington, VA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work.

Responsibilities
  • Ownership of the design process; from research, through conceptual design, UX design, testing, and prototyping.
  • Own the end-to-end experience framework for process automation and workflow tools.
  • Lead the design in a team environment. Work with leadership in design planning and goal creation.
  • Understand clients and their needs through customer research and feedback, and market analysis.
  • Design the architecture, interface, and interaction flow of services and experiences.
  • Develop personas, customer journey maps, conceptual diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Facilitate the design process, and present and iterate design solutions.
  • Craft, pitch, and validate long-term design strategies.
  • Continually iterate and evolve the way we design for and learn from our clients.
