Gearbox Software est à la recherche d’un(e) Producteur(trice) Projet pour rejoindre son équipe et superviser le développement des fonctionnalités de gameplay d’une toute nouvelle propriété intellectuelle (IP) passionnante !
En tant que Producteur(trice) Projet, vous serez responsable de plusieurs pods multidisciplinaires axés sur les fonctionnalités de gameplay clés — tels que les 3C, la progression ou l’IA — pour un jeu AAA. Vous serez le moteur de l’exécution de votre équipe, en veillant à aligner l’intention créative avec la faisabilité technique tout en maintenant les objectifs de qualité et de livraison.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10 ans ou plus d’expérience dans l’industrie du jeu vidéo, dont au moins un projet AAA livré en tant que Producteur(trice) responsable de projets de grande envergure, de la pré-production jusqu’au post-lancement / live ops.
  • Expérience confirmée dans la gestion de pods multidisciplinaires dans un environnement AAA.
  • Solide compréhension des besoins spécifiques à la production gameplay et des cycles d’itération.
  • Passion pour la constitution d’équipes saines et créativement autonomes.
  • Organisation rigoureuse, sens du détail, autonomie, et capacité à insuffler ces qualités à l’équipe.
  • Excellentes compétences en gestion du temps, avec une capacité à collaborer avec toutes les disciplines, à évaluer les risques, à définir les priorités et à résoudre une grande variété de problèmes.
  • Connaissance approfondie du développement de jeux : dynamiques d’équipe, défis de production courants, moteurs de jeu et technologies, jalons de développement, méthodologies de production, externalisation et co-développement, planification, etc.
  • Expérience avérée dans la responsabilisation des équipes et l’amélioration continue au sein d’organisations d’échelle et de complexité comparables.
  • Leadership posé et diplomate, capable de maintenir la confidentialité et de mener des conversations cruciales, parfois sensibles.

Gearbox Software is looking for a Project Producer to join their team and oversee the development of gameplay features for an exciting brand-new IP!
As a Project Producer, you will be responsible for several cross-functional pods focused on core gameplay systems—such as 3Cs, Progression or AI—on a AAA title. You will be the driving force behind your team’s execution, helping to align creative intent with technical feasibility while maintaining quality and delivery goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of game industry experience including one shipped AAA title(s) as a Producer running larger scale projects through full development cycles, from concept to post-launch/live Ops.
  • Proven success leading cross-functional pods in AAA environments.
  • Solid understanding of gameplay production needs and iteration cycles.
  • Passion for cultivating healthy teams who are creatively empowered.
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, self-directed, and capable of instilling that characteristic in others.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to engage across all disciplines, assess risk, define priorities, and resolve a wide array of problems.
  • Deep knowledge of game development – team dynamics, common development hurdles, game engines and technology, development milestone definitions, production process and methodology, outsourcing and co-development, scheduling, etc.
  • An experienced driver of accountability and improvement within organizations of a comparable scale and complexity.
  • A cool-headed, diplomatic leader able to maintain critical confidentiality and to have crucial, and at times sensitive, conversations. Excellent communicator, presenter, and team player

    Responsibilities

    Project & Product development

    • In collaboration with the other Project Producers, establish and maintain cross-project Production best practices and processes.
    • With the participation of the Development Producers and in collaboration with department Leads, create and maintain staffing plans as well as roadmaps for how to ship the gameplay features on time and on budget.
    • Partner with and support Directors in defining, evaluating, improving, and protecting the overall vision, scope and quality of the product on an ongoing basis to achieve commercial success.
    • Maintain and communicate clear production priorities, timelines, and deliverables to the gameplay pods and external stakeholders.
    • Maintain a constant awareness of game status, performance, and trends.
    • Track team velocity and capacity, managing scope adjustments as needed throughout production phases.

    • Promote team leadership alignment by ensuring goals are clearly identified, understood, and properly communicated and by clarifying roles & responsibilities.
