Description Job Title: Production Administrator Supervisor: Lead Production Administrator Department: Industries Administration FLSA Status: Hourly Summary: Provide daily support to manufacturing; production data analysis/correction, inventory procurement, purchase requests, material quote research, coordinate manufacturing order scheduling, scheduling shipping, uploading finalized orders on government website. Essential Duties Conduct daily production tracking using designated software applications and spreadsheets to monitor inventory efficiently. Generate manufacturing orders for production employees. Access government websites to retrieve necessary approval and documents for shipping. Prepare and distribute paperwork for shipments. Manage order entry, material orders and shipment processing for all projects. Input and maintain inventory in manufacturing software and spreadsheets. Perform monthly inventory reconciliation to ensure alignment with data in ERP system. Maintain training records for all employees. Obtain quotes and prepare paperwork for Purchase Requests. Manage procurement of cost-efficient materials in a timely manner. Manage all logistics of shipping/receiving. Assist Manufacturing Production Coordinator and Manufacturing VP in acquiring quoting /cost information on new projects. Provide customer order requirements to appropriate QC. Maintain cell statistics spreadsheet for Plant 2. Aid during annual inventory. All other duties deemed necessary. Follow Agency attendance policy. Follow Supervisors instructions. Requirements Qualifications: Possess ability to maintain flexible schedule to meet the demands of the department. Maintain good hygiene. Possess excellent research and writing skills. Previous experience with computers required. Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office products required. Inventory control and purchasing experience required. Certifications/Licenses/Registrations: CPR/First Aid Physical Demands: The employee must be able to perform the essential duties of this job. Repetitive motion required. Lifting, bending, twisting, and turning are required. Lifting up to 50 pounds independently and over 100 pounds with assistance may be required. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by employees to successfully perform the essential duties. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles and outside weather conditions. The noise level is usually moderate but occasionally loud. Use of Personal Protective Equipment such as vinyl or latex gloves is occasionally required.
