Description

Semcor is an ever growing company looking to add to their Production Administrator team.
Summary/Objective: The Production Administrator is responsible for coordinating essential production processes, focusing on the accurate use of the ERP system, reviewing technical drawings, and ensuring precise material and product management. This role requires strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and close collaboration with multiple departments to support production flow and ensure data integrity within the ERP system.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· High School diploma or equivalent.
· 1 year of experience in a production or administrative role with a strong focus on ERP system usage.
· Experience in reading technical drawings and working with bills of material.
· Detail-oriented with proven critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, consistently demonstrated through accurate data analysis, effective issue resolution, and process optimization.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Responsibilities

· Utilize the ERP system to manage production-related data, including job creation, material usage, inventory tracking, and job closure, run costing reports, and research issues.
· Review and interpret technical drawings to ensure all production specifications, material requirements, and customer requirements are accurately captured and processed.
· Ensure bills of materials (BOMs), routes, and work orders are correctly reflected in the ERP system before release to manufacturing.
· Verify inventory levels within the ERP system and address any discrepancies, ensuring that material availability aligns with production needs.
· Collaborate with the Purchasing Coordinator to resolve any issues regarding special components or missing materials for custom products.
· Create and manage product identification labels and operate label printing equipment to ensure proper product tracking and storage.
· Conduct basic analysis of production data, including inventory movement and job performance, to assist in driving workflow efficiency and resolving operational bottlenecks.
· Assist in technical documentation updates, ensuring that any changes in BOMs or processes are accurately reflected in the system.
· Provide support for cycle counting and inventory audits to maintain high levels of accuracy within the ERP system.
· Serve as a liaison between production, customer service, and warehousing to ensure accurate job execution and timely problem resolution.
· Follow established procedures and work instructions.
· Use accounting software to create and process invoices and maintain records.
