Overview Role: Production and Logistics Flow Team Leader Contract Type: Permanent Location: Leamington Spa Role ID: 2026 – 3338 Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum plus benefits Our vision is to create a safe and sustainable world. The Role We are seeking a Production and Logistics Flow Team Leader to support the effective manufacturing flow within the workshop, ensuring parts are available in a timely manner to achieve the manufacturing plan. Key Responsibilities The role will require a proactive hands-on approach spending 50% of your time on the shop floor and manufacturing areas gathering information and encouraging a pull/ push system. Supervise a small, dedicated team to achieve role specific actions. Ensure databases and updates are real-time so that the production schedule represents reality or as near to it as physically possible. Manage the availability and maintenance of appropriate packaging for the safe transportation whilst maintaining a damage-free environment. Ensure parts are fully trackable within the manufacturing environment and visual to the production control tracking database. Ensure efficient Material/ Parts flow through manufacturing, in line with production schedule. Maintain effective logistical applications to safely transport material/part throughout the total manufacturing routes. Adherence to Quality systems/ processes and audits, Health & Safety procedures, including risk assessments within the area of responsibility. Key Competencies and Experience Demonstrable experience in a similar manufacturing environment using MRP systems and scheduling tools. Forward planning and forecasting are essential requirements to this role. Proven experience team supervisory of small interdependent team members. A collaborative approach to achieve Customer first objectives. Qualified to A level standard or completed a formal apprenticeship in a manufacturing environment. Desirable To have worked in similar roles within a complex busy manufacturing site To have knowledge and experience within a Gear manufacturing site To have an in-depth knowledge of Lean principles Working here You will be warmly welcomed into our workplace where every voice matters.
