JOB SUMMARY:

The Production and Planning Manager is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive production plans to meet customer demand, optimize resource utilization, and maintain high productivity levels. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the production schedule, ensuring efficient material flow, managing inventory, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve production goals.

• Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop, implement, and manage production plans and schedules to align with sales forecasts, inventory levels, and operational capacities.
• Resource Management: Coordinate with Production Supervisors to ensure optimal utilization of teams and equipment.
• Inventory Control: Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods to ensure adequate supply and minimize waste.
• Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with sales, operations, and other departments to ensure seamless production flow and timely product delivery.
• Process Optimization: Monitor production processes, analyze data, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
• Quality & Safety Compliance: Ensure that production activities comply with company quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and motivate the production planning team to achieve performance goals and objectives.
• Reporting & Communication: Communicate production status, risks, and issues to senior management and other stakeholders.
