QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1–3 years of experience in a production, quality control, or shop-floor coordination role (manufacturing environment preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Basic understanding of mechanical components and work order/job traveler systems
  • Comfortable with hands-on work, including inspection, packing, or basic assembly if required
  • Familiarity with ERP systems or production planning tools is an asset
  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Production and Quality Technician to support our growing operations team. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is capable of wearing multiple hats to ensure jobs are completed accurately and on time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with daily production tasks and support shop floor operations as needed
  • Organize and maintain work orders, ensuring all documentation is complete and up to date
  • Plan and schedule work orders by reviewing priorities and available capacity
  • Identify missing materials and coordinate with the procurement team to avoid delays
  • Assign work orders to the appropriate team members and follow up on progress
  • Perform final checks on outgoing orders for accuracy, quality, and completeness
  • Sign off on completed orders prior to shipping
  • Collaborate with quality, engineering, and production teams to address issues proactively
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
