WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL AS A PRODUCTION ARTS TEACHER AT ACTIVATE LEARNING?
Successful candidates will have an appropriate professional qualification and/or a degree, recent teaching experience and the ability to deliver a programme that will cover the production aspects of Performing Arts such as Lighting, Sound, Prop Making, Set Design and Stage Management. They will help to develop venue and events’ technicians of the future. Whilst we would prefer applications from qualified teachers who hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification, we would consider applications from unqualified applicants, depending on other experience. Unqualified candidates would start at a lower salary point and this could be discussed at interview, if successfully shortlisted.
In addition, you will need to have a flexible approach, coupled with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. You will demonstrate the ability to engage and develop students and role model the attributes that we develop within our learners.
